Featuring the original works of Carolyn Zimmerman of Miles City, Montana.
Carolyn studied Art at Montana State University where she achieved her degree in English. She
has also participated in numerous workshops and regional shows and received Merit Awards at the MonDak events in
Sidney, Montana, and won the Peoples Choice Award at the Custer County Arts Auction Exhibit in 1997.
Carolyn works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, watercolor batik, pastels and has
recently added "encoustic", which uses wax, pigments and heat to create her vibrant pieces. She also enjoys
teaching childrens workshops in various media formats, including watercolor, clay and pastels.
Carolyn's work can be found in a number of galleries, including the Woolhouse Gallery
in Miles City, the DCAU Gallery in Glendive, and her work is also featured at the SW Corner Gallery near Dallas,
Texas.
