The 2009 Traveling Collection features 24 representative works of the "30th Annual
Southeastern Montana juried exhibit- Works on Paper" shown earlier this year at the Custer County Art & Heritage Center
in Miles City, Montana. The Juried Exhibit represents professional and amateur artworks from across Montana and adjoining
states. This year, eligible entries were limited to works on paper, either the support or the medium had to be at least 50% paper.
From nearly 150 entries, Juror Julie Tachick of Gillette, Wyoming selected 79 artworks for exhibit
as well as those receiving awards. Cash awards totaled $ 1000.00 for first, second and third place winners in addition to
several honorable mentions. The 2009 Traveling Collection will tour eastern Montana until the end of the calendar year. The exhibit
